Well, it has been two years. We've seen elections, World Cups, and job changes for me. We haven't seen a college diploma. It wasn't a concern for me early on, but it's an experience I'd like to have in my background. Don't get me wrong. I've been to college. I just didn't give it my all.
The FASFA has been filed (I'm a starving artist. How else could I pay for it?) If I'm lucky I'll be returning to the University of Montevallo. If I'm not, I'll seek elsewhere. I have to go back.
On another note, I'm on the the last novel of the Kenzie and Gennaro series. Stupidly, I started the series with Moonlight Mile because I wanted to try a Lehane and thought it was a standalone. It only took me thirty pages, but it was obvious a lot of story background was missing. I read on anyways (It's basically the aftermath of Gone Baby Gone). I loved it, bought A Drink Before the War, and never looked back. I'm now reading Prayers for Rain. It has a different feel from its predecessors. I'm hooked. Patrick Kenzie is easily one of my favorite protagonists.
