There are many shows, like Community, that I avoided like the plague for the the simple fact that people begged me to watch them. It is a problem I have. I waited until the December before Season 6 to watch all of LOST. I waited until Season 4 was six episodes in to start watching Dexter. Now, I've waited until the month before Community's fourth and final season to start what would become one of those TV series I felt was just made for me. Its filled with pop culture references, meta humor, and just a great ensemble dynamic amongst the principle players (I always just pretend Chevy Chase isn't there, and now the writers have started to do that too). When I was still in community college, I thought I was Jeff Winger too.
Maybe we'll get lucky. Netflix seems to be in the game of reviving TV shows...
