I slept in till 10 today. After several very peculiar sequences of events, this was a victory. The lights were dim. My back was sore from the couch that has taken its place as my bed. I heat up my breakfast. It all seems normal to an extent, but then it hits me: Isn't it awful quiet in here? Shouldn't it bother me? No. It doesn't. I've never been a more positive place. Sure, I hated the cinematic value of the whole fiasco, but I've come out of it a better person. No one likes series finales, but sometimes we have to move on, no?
Tonight, I'll be performing in a new space in Columbiana. Tomorrow, I'll be celebrating my Mother. Then, more time with my new family in my Alice cast.
Life goes on. You just have to let it.
Ender's Game is one of the finest sci-fi titles I've read. I about fell over when the movie was announced. Now, we have our first look. It looks pretty epic. Harrison Ford is back in fine form. Asa Butterfield matches what I envisioned for Ender. Where can I buy my tickets?
Ladies and gentlemen, let's get the word of mouth out there. Alice in Slasherland is the violent, sexy, blood soaked, horror comedy of the summer season. You will NOT want to miss this. Please take some time and make this graphic your Facebook cover photo. My out of state friends, I highly recommend you make an effort to visit Birmingham during one of the three weekends and experience the madness.
